Winter came hard, it has been so far one of the coldest winters in the last 10-12 years. I've never seen so much snow in Berlin before, even locals are impressed. It feels peaceful, which in this days is important, people feel alive again. Lockdown has taken a toll in all of us, so now is all about the little details. It is funny when I think about 2 years ago, in 2019 when everything was just so different, feel like a life time ago, all the parties, the bars, all the dancing and social gatherings.. I feel living through a terribly produced Hollywood movie nowadays. But yet somehow I make it work to not be bored, even in lockdown Berlin has something to offer, maybe snow, maybe just dark cold walks, or some Späti bad coffee to go... Somehow everything has fallen into place, it has worked quite well for me, I shouldn't really complain, but I still have trouble sleeping, I still feel there is something wrong, just feels off. Maybe is a long term lockdown effect. Perhaps is just my head playing games, would not be the first time.

I was relatively new in the city when we met, my german skills were slowly improving and I was still struggling to adjust to this new life, it was by far an intense year for me, but never did have the time to process it all. Now that I think about it, "K" was an ideal that came true, he checked almost all my dream guy boxes, he had the looks, the money, the brains, the charisma, and such a good kisser! (almost too good to be true) but off course it was all in the first impression. after our coffee he drove me to the nearest Christmas market and before our goodbyes we shared a passionate intense kiss, it was soo good, but then I got the feeling, maybe "K" was just into sex, maybe not.. After all this months I cant really be 100% sure it was more than just sex, but I can be sure it was definitely not all about sex (if that makes sense).  And so it begun my "K-affaire"...
